As a certified architect (TOGAF, AWS, Microsoft), Eric has built up an enormous knowledge of the design, construction and problem solving of complex virtual (cloud) infrastructures over the past 20 years. In recent years Eric has been responsible for many optimization, consolidation and migration projects, for infrastructure projects, private cloud and public cloud projects, and for business-critical solution architectures.
As lead architect, Eric is familiar with various architectural styles and has a hands-on approach that enables him to serve as a critical sounding board with consultants, engineers and operations. He is aware of which advantages different architectural choices can offer, and what is most suitable for a specific business case. He establishes business cases, frameworks and guidelines in which he integrates the traceability of standards, wishes and requirements in the solutions.
He also pays particular attention to the organizational aspect: how do you adopt cloud services as an organization? What does this require from the business, from the policy and from operations?
Eric is a practical thinking architect with an eye for commerce, business goals and people.
